Our Client:
A global leader in agribusiness. Due to business expansion needs, they now have a new position as Finance Manager – Based in Myanmar.
Main Responsibilities:
Manages all aspects of the finance department
Overseeing the month end process including ensuring the completion of the General Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations and P&L statements
Prepares commentary around variance to budget
Provides commentary and analysis around the company’s performance to the management team
Cashflow forecasting
Prepares the annual statutory accounts
Submitting taxation returns
Liaising with external auditors and banks
Manages the company’s financial systems
Provides financial advice to managers regarding initiatives to improve the company’s financial performance
Required:
A good University degree in Business, Finance or related
At least 10 years of proven professional and leadership experience in supervising a team of staff.
CA / CPA (essential)
Sound financial reporting skills, including solid experience and exposure to IFRS and auditing standards
Solid knowledge of local and international taxation practices
Commodity trading, processing and/or manufacturing experience
Those with prior working experience in Southeast Asia countries will have a strong advantage
Effective communication skills in English
Candidates who can communicate in Mandarin will have a strong advantage
