Our Client:

• A regional supply chain management Group.   Due to business expansion, they have a new role for General Manager (Cold Supply Chain) – based in Chongqing.

Main Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for stake holders, including external customers.

• Perform role of liaison with clients and suppliers on business projects as appropriate.

• Facilitate communication between departments including: Business Development, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Client Services, Account Management, Quality Assurance and Operations.

• Identify and coordinate improvements in the operations area necessary to meet the variance commitments for the plant and cost objectives.

• Ensure that cost gaps are identified, action plans developed, and adequate resources allocated to meet all financial objectives

• Drive overall supply chain capabilities by managing plant wide implementation of TPM, true efficiency, and team development

• Achieve all productivity, quality, cost, delivery, safety & motivation Key Performance Indicators objectives

• Provide a work environment which adheres to all compliance and regulatory guidelines

Required:

• At least a good University Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, supply chain or other related discipline.

• At least 5 years experience in similar senior capacity with P&L responsibility.

• Excellent management/ leadership aptitude.

• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills

• Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin
