A homegrown start-up B2B cross-border trade platform that focuses on F&B/FMCG products to support buyers and suppliers to grow their businesses internationally.
Main Responsibilities:
Assume the P&L of wholesale’s online growth and expansion targets; strategise and optimise SME buyer acquisition
Lead sales, business development and marketing team to develop holistic marketing strategy and campaign calendar to acquire buyers
Structure growth tests to identify opportunities and insights, adopt creative problem-solving approach to accelerate growth
Identify and pitch to partners to collaborate and expand the outreach of acquisition channels
Deliver high-quality engagements for customers, prospects and partners by planning best-in-class events and programs
Establish the right marketing program for customers worldwide to increase their lifetime value
Measure acquisition effectiveness – Find ways to collect data and adjust based on feedback to evaluate growth strategy and inform future initiatives, and you’ll own the collection of market and customer insights to improvise the marketing campaigns and messaging
Continuously examine & analyze the wholesale business performance from sales, merchandising, marketing and operations perspective, use the insights to further drive growth and guide strategy team to create relevant reports
Required:
At least a bachelor degree in marketing/communications or equivalent
At least 7 years of experience in e-commerce or similar expansion positions with at least 3 years of managerial experience
Experience in performance marketing and content marketing will possess an added advantage
Effectively bilingual to liaise with both Chinese and English speaking stakeholders
Strong communication skills with the ability to partner and influence stakeholders effectively.
A team player who can multi-task and ideally passionate about learning and coaching
Excellent analytical skill with ability to synthesize insights from different kinds of data and insights
Resounding writing skills for presentations and reports
