Our client:

• Our client is an International Supply Chain and Logistics Company. They specialise in Delivering Supply Chain, Warehouse Management and Freight Forwarding Services for Global and Local Clients.

• They are looking for the Assistant Operations Manager (newly created) as their businesss is experiencing strong growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the operation staff of Freight Management Dept

• Build and maintain close relationship with customers, operations, sales and accounts department

• Developing new vendors, building vendor relationships and managing processes with vendors.

• Oversee cost, quality and delivery performance

• Manage daily administration (order management for house account customers, deliveries, etc) to ensure operational activities are carried out effectively and efficiently in a timely manner to meet customer requirements.

• Investigate and action on all non-conformance and recommend corrective action plans, exceptions and problem escalation

Requirements:

• More than 5 years in Logistics / Freght Forwarding environment

• Multimodel transportation experience

• Strong leader and good communications skills

• Entrepreneurial and Customer Service mindset

• Able to work in a face pace environment
