• A leading company with design and manufacturing capabilities to deliver photonic optical light source products and solutions to the communications, medical, and security industries.

• Due to business expansion, they have a new opening for General Manager (Based in Shanghai, China).

Role and Responsibilities:

• Reporting directly to the Board, the job incumbent will be responsible for the P&L of the new photonics manufacturing plant in Eastern China.

• He/ she will lead in the setting up of the new plant, including hiring and putting together the R&D team, manufacturing operations team, sales and marketing team, etc.

• He/ she will be also be responsible for liaising with government authorities and other relevant external parties.

What you need to know/ have:

• The ideal candidate should possess a good postgraduate Degree at least 15-20 years of experience in semiconductor/ photonic manufacturing in China with a strong understanding of the photonic products and solution market.

• He/ she should have good leadership skills and communication skills.

• He/ she must possess a can-do spirit.

• He/ she must be effectively bilingual in Mandarin and English.

• Candidates with prior setting-up experience will have a strong advantage.

• Those with strong network in the communications industry will have a strong advantage.
