Our client: 

A global leader in the development of decarbonization solutions; expanding to build their renewable fuels production facility in Johor of Malaysia.

They are looking for passionate professionals with chemical plant operation experience and proven track records of P&L management to join their senior management team for their renewable fuels production business in Malaysia. High standard of professionalism, integrity, commitment will be their company core values.

Main Responsibilities:

• Build operation safety DNA and culture

• Build and develop local operating team from early stage, and especially cross-race management culture

• Partner with Feedstock Supply and Sales team to develop short- and long-term production planning, feedstock supply planning and sales planning

• Setup mechanism and develop knowledge transfer from their PRC operations

Requirements:

• Possess chemical plant operation experience especially in hydro-treating process

• Relevant university qualifications with minimum of 15 years’ experience in biofuel, petrochemical, oil & gas or similar process industry and at least 5 years of successful P&L management experience

• Matured, good people skills with management experience across different races and cultures

• Able to adopt and apply licensing technology to operations

• Must possess safety mindset with proven track records in a gate keeper role

• Possess similar management experience working in Malaysia, and preferably in SE Asia

• Experienced and able to deal with local government and authorities as well as community

• Must be fluent in English; proficiency in spoken & written Mandarin will be an added advantage as frequent communications and correspondence with colleagues in PRC will be required.
