Role:

• Perform all mechanical and rotating equipment engineering activities within the project.

• Review the rotating equipment selection, specifications, data sheets and requisition in accordance with the project and process design requirements.

• Perform vendor data review and incorporation and ensure the equipment installation and commissioning activities is compliance at site.

• Carry out appropriate discipline and inter-discipline checks and reviews of engineering and design work in accordance with general specifications, particular specifications, technical specifications and drawings, etc.

• Co-ordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and in-house teams for implementation of the projects

• Develop method of statements and testing procedures for the works.

• Assist in planning and executing the mechanical maintenance activities of bio-fuels facilities

• Assist to review and implement operation and maintenance strategies to improve reliability and integrity of plant equipment

• Carry out troubleshooting and emergency repair of plant equipment

Required:

• Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent discipline

• Minimum of 7 years or above mechanical engineering experience in biofuels, petrochemical, oil & gas or oil refinery industries, on either engineering design, construction and commissioning, operation and maintenance

• Knowledge of Process Equipment (Rotating) and familiar with international design codes (API, ASME, NFPA, GB etc), industrial standards and local codes

• Knowledge and proven experience on design review for biofuel or similar process industry project delivery during EPC phase

• Knowledge of systems, equipment, plot plan, plant layout, development of project deliverables within the discipline.

• Good command in both spoken and written English, fluency in Mandarin is preferred

• Self-motivated, well organized, resourceful and proactive. Able to work independently with minimum supervision
