A global leader in the development of decarbonization solutions; expanding to build their renewable fuels production facility in Johor of Malaysia.
They are looking for passionate professionals to join the project construction team for their renewable fuels production facility in Johor of Malaysia. High standard of professionalism, integrity, commitment will be their company core values.
Main Responsibilities:
Plan, supervise and document all aspects of the project and ensure the scope and direction of each project are in accordance with the schedule, budget and customer requirements
Complete all internal and external tasks at the office and project site
Monitor and ensure design prepared by the design team is in accordance with BUDGET COSTING & PRACTICAL, and can be implemented by contractor/ subcontractors
Ensure that all Technical Teams complete designated tasks at the appointed time and comply with the deadlines for each task
Obtain updates on every task & QS including Proposal Drawing and BQ
Check the Work Schedule of each project prepared by the site supervisor and check the progress reports for each project before submitting them to the Project Manager
Prepare detailed drawing, electrical and mechanical plan for the project
Ensure that all craftsmen, subcontractors and suppliers involved in the site comply with the deadline of each project
Represent the company in on-site meetings and related meetings
Ensure that the Senior Site Supervisor & Site Supervisor can solve all problems on the site with the knowledge of the Project Manager and management
Occasionally plan relevant activities to strengthen the skills of all Technical Department staffs
Requirements:
Chartered professional engineering of a recognized institution (E.g: BEM Malaysia, Project management Institute or equivalent), OSHA training certification will be an advantage
Minimum of 15 years’ experience in biofuel, petrochemical, oil & gas or similar process industry and minimum of 10 years of construction management experience as a construction manager
Proven previous experience in similar project delivery during EPC phase
Knowledge of EPC industry, constructability knowledge and contract management on nominated sub-contractors (NSC)
Knowledge of department budget process and tools, project controls, risk assessment/ management/
Administrative policies and procedures & construction project management systems
Must be able to travel and work at site
Must be fluent in English; proficiency in spoken & written Mandarin will be an added advantage as frequent communications and correspondence with colleagues in the Greater China region will be required.
