Our client is a Singapore based company providing Electronics Contract Manufacturing Services (EMS) to technology companies and OEMs in the Medical, Industrial equipment and Telecommunication markets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the vendor selection and onboarding process, ensuring that appropriate due diligence and risk assessments are completed.

• Proactively engage vendors, negotiate contracts and terms in close co-operation with key stakeholders and contract owners.

• Continuously plan, manage and improve supplier/vendor quality and relationships.

• Undertake vendor management by ensure regular monitoring and evaluation of the performance against agreed service levels

• Manage and lead the sourcing team to support in negotiation and contracts.

• Develop, implement and execute strategies for the Planning functions – Demand, Supply & inventory, to identify potential savings.

• To lead, manage, develop and motivate a strong procurement team with targeted outcomes, process efficiencies, logistic efficiency and cost reduction improvement activities.

• Formulate the Department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), forms and templates to maintain best practices, consistency error reduction and enhance productivity in the conduct of procurement activities.

Required:

• Degree with minimum 5 years of sourcing and managerial experience

• Worked in EMS manufacturing environment

• Demonstrates energy, gravitas and determination in the implementation of cost saving projects and initiatives

• You should also have good interpersonal skills engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
