Our Client:

A cross-border B2B online trading platform connecting global buyers and suppliers of all sizes. Due to business needs, they now have a new position as Category Manager – Based in Shanghai.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing the home and living category of the business

• Develop and execute category strategy, product assortment, pricing, promotion and marketing plan based on sales trends.

• Familiar with market trends, classification, marketing, pricing and promotion,

• Provide inputs for marketing product selection, pricing recommendations, optimize distribution

• Data analysis, interpretation and strategy for categories using retail and e-commerce related data and information to maximize KPIs, sales and profits.

• Regular conduct category reviews and propose new ideas to improve business performance

• Manage inventory for the category

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

• With 8 years relevant experience in category management, preferably for e-commerce business

• Have a strong knowledge and understanding of market trends and customer demands for home and living category

• Strong communication skills and negotiation skills

• Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin
