The Role:
Reporting to the Chief HR Officer (CHRO), you will lead the HR team in Singapore and handle the full spectrum of HR. You will be in-charge of implementation and execution of the organisation’s strategic staffing plan, partnering closely with hiring managers to source, select and employ diverse talents to join their workforce in achieving business goals. You will be instrumental in building a robust HR operation team to cater for the need for the departments.
You will also liaise extensively and build strong relationships and presence with external public and private sector agencies and community organizations, schools and institutions to position the organisation as the employer of choice for top talents.
Main Responsibilities:
To lead the talent acquisition team and ability to translate the overall people strategy into execution and tactics, ensuring alignment of staffing need with business objectives while managing, influencing, and driving the recruitment process.
Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and redundancy.
Apply HR and business knowledge evidencing appropriate decision-making skills.
Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment and sharing knowledge of best practice with them.
Develop HR policy and procedures for consistency approach. Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary.
Provide first line advice on current and existing benefits for employees and managers.
Oversee and ability to administer payroll.
Work with appropriate parties on reward strategy.
Ability to write job descriptions and preparing interview questions and application forms etc.
Constantly enhancing employee experience through employee lifecycle.
Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation.
Support change management processes.
The main duties and responsibilities will be subjected to review when there is a change in business requirements and scope of work
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, major in Human Resource preferred, or other degree with solid Human Resource experience.
Proven HR generalist experience of 6-8 years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Exceptional organisational and communication skills is required.
With proven leadership capabilities, experienced in leading a team of 4 or more.
Good and solid knowledge of employment legislation and its application is a must. Experienced in various work passes application process.
Good interpersonal skills and experienced in developing and supporting line managers through change.
Resourceful and good experience in volume recruitment is highly preferred.
Good team players with strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy is crucial.
Self-motivated and resilience, able to work under own autonomy and fast-paced setup
Skill Requirements:
Required Knowledge: Key Employment-related/Labour laws and regulations.
Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office Suites and outstanding knowledge in LinkedIn Recruiter and/or RecruiterPal will be a plus.
Preferably Senior/Mid-level role specialised in Recruitment and/or equivalent.
Ability to manage different stakeholders.
Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Mandarin, in order to be able to communicate with production staff who are monolingual.

Excellent time and project management skills and has the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and pressure.
Ability to prioritize tasks when appropriate.
Good interpersonal skills, able to interface professionally and responsively, and attentive to detail.
