Our Client:

• A medical technology company focused on molecular diagnostics, including clinical laboratory testing and manufacturing with the capabilities in developing proprietary platform PCR tests for infectious diseases, including bacteria and viruses.

• They are now looking for a Director to lead their new laboratory in Northeastern China.

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for setting up and day-to-day smooth operation of the clinical laboratory, including application of certification for clinic diagnostic service and coordinating different parties for the audits and inspections;

• Effective management of reagents, equipment, biosafety and environmental facilities of the laboratory

• Staff Management including recruitment, training and performance management

• Responsible for setting up and ensuring the quality system of the laboratory with continuous improvement

• Ensuring that the laboratory is able to complete tests on time and accurately, reports issued properly according to regulations and manuals;

Required:

• A good university degree

• At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in a third-party laboratory or a tertiary hospital, with 3 years in leadership positions

• Holders of intermediate/ sub-high professional title of laboratory;

• ISO15189 certification experience is preferred;

• Proficient in clinical tests, biochemistry, genetics, microbiology, immunity and other diagnostics tests

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin
