Our Client:
An innovation centre focusing on helping international startups in their expansion to China.
Due to business expansion, they have a new opening for Business Development Manager – Based in Yangtze River Delta Region.
Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for partnering with international startups to gain more market presence in China, in the areas of high-end manufacturing, smart automation, deeptech, etc.
Connect international startups with partners, VCs, PEs, and other potential investors in the innovation eco-system in China.
Develop market insights and business proposals based on complex business ideas and market intelligence.
Organise business missions, road shows, trade shows, and other events to drive awareness of the startups and achieve the abovementioned objectives.
Map out an effective marketing strategy for the biomedical startups to reach and engage with target audience.
Manage good relationships with the investor community.
Required:
Possesses a good Master’s degree.
Minimum five years of relevant working experience with incubators, accelerators or startups, VCs, or related companies in innovation eco-system.
An entrepreneurial spirit, a can-do spirit.
Experience in implementing successful funding campaigns for startups.
Familiarity with startup culture.
Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin.
