A leader in the automotive industry. As their team expands, they are looking for a Sustainability Leader to lead a small team to map the group’s strategic approach to environmental responsibility.

Main Responsibilities:
Oversee the overall execution, mission, and efficacy of the sustainability program and division
Evaluates, analyse and enhance group’s existing sustainability programs
Proposes and implements organisational policies and strategies to address various environmental concerns, including energy use, conservation, reduction of pollution, recycling, building and facility design, and general education on sustainability.
Plan & execute sustainability-related initiatives/activities and review Corporate Power Purchase Agreements, renewables installations, solar PV integration in building systems, building management systems upgrading, cooling and comfort management, critical facilities management projects, electrical, water, food waste engineering, general waste, waste recycling etc
Prepare and present reports, proposals and recommendations to the management, directors, and other key stakeholders.
Develops and maintains appropriate documentation and records, including budgets, project fundings and other financials.
Maintains current working knowledge and compliance with all applicable local, state, federal, and internal environmental laws and regulations.
Review all renewables plans to ensure correct ROI, solar equipment, and outputs are right.
Manage all GRI data streams from operations indicators and conduct all internal audits for EI data streams, including internal auditing
Identifies and facilitates sustainability training as needed.
What you need to know/ have:
Degree holder in engineering field with 12 years of working experience, with at least 5 years in managing sustainability scope of work in a corporate environment.
Extensive knowledge of sustainability practices and applicable laws and regulations.
Familiar with sustainability reporting – GRI, CDP, ISO 14645.
Experience in carbon offsets, corporate internal carbon reduction programs, renewable energy and renewable energy credits.
Regional experience in leading a team of sustainability professionals.
Ability to analyse and understand research and identify relevant and valuable information.
Ability to create, interpret, and execute a budget.
