Our client:

• A real estate developer with regional presence.

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversees fund-raising activities for Singapore and overseas projects

• Formulates and implements the funding requirements for the organisation

• Evaluates and negotiates for favourable terms of the financing proposals and recommend to management for approval

• Leads and ensures execution of all fund-raising exercises in the debt capital market as well as loan market

• Responsible for the treasury operation, including but not limited to inter-company transactions, external loans, bonds, issuance of bankers’ guarantees and foreign exchange transactions

• Explores and recommends hedging strategies for the organisation pertaining to interest rate and foreign exchange management

• Put in place and reviews updated policies relating to treasury matters

• Reviews cashflow projections and treasury reports

• Leads the team in the optimization and streamlining of operational processes through digitization

Required:

• A good Degree in Accountancy (major in Finance), Business or ACCA

• Minimum 15 years of experience in corporate treasury and preferably in real estate industry

• Effectively bilingual to handle both Chinese and English speaking stakeholders

• Good working knowledge of money market and interest rate swap markets and foreign exchange concepts and related hedge strategies

• Well-versed in bank loan financings and Equity Capital Market and Debt Capital Market fundraisings

• Self-motivated and resourceful with excellent analytical skills and ability to work independently

• Ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels within the organisation

• A team player with strong leadership skills
