Our Client:

●A multinational company in electronics manufacturing with plants across China. Due to business expansion, they now have a position for VP, Procurement (Based in China).

Main Responsibilities:

●Devise and implement fruitful sourcing strategies across the business

●Formulate good network of suppliers and initiate long term business partnerships

●Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms

●Corporate governance duties which includes reviewing of existing contracts, legal terms and clauses

●Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness

●Manage unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies

●Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements

●Control spending and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs

Required:

●At least 12-15 years of proven working experience in China in procurement function in MNC or EMS

●Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as good market knowledge

●Strong negotiation skills and

●Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software

●Aptitude in decision-making and numeric skills

●Bilingual in Mandarin and English
