●In view of expansion, they are sourcing for Assistant Product Manager to join their APAC product team based in Singapore.
●The incumbent will be responsible for the overall success of the service offerings and delivers measurable business results through telco product (IPT, DIA, MPLS, SD-WAN) lifecycle solutions that meet both market needs and organizational goals. At the same time, ensuring a long-term goal to build revenue growth YoY within these service categories insure consistent services growth.
Main Responsibilities:
●Responsible for lifecycle revenue for the organisation’s Services business
●Responsible for strategic product planning and execution of roadmap/playbook throughout the product life cycle
●Accountable for delivering product milestones on time and on budget. The incumbent will own and drive the approved capital allocation for product development
●Define and review user stories and acceptance criteria for assigned domains working in an agile environment
●Partner closely with the various product segments in establishing and executing on a consistent lifecycle services strategy
●Representation as product line owner on multi-functional program teams, including but not limited to marketing, sales, operations, supply chain, engineering, and services teams, while ensuring compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements
●Ensure customer focus in product line development plans and value propositions by establishing relationships with customers as required and ensuring the “voice of the customer” is reflected in work efforts
●Defining and leading appropriate market segmentation and positioning strategies for the assigned product lines
●Be in integrator with regional service leadership, developing close linkages and a portfolio set up for regional success and activation
●Monitor, and be accountable for, key success metrics including revenue, margins, customer satisfaction, supply chain fulfillment and proper market adoption
●Conduct cost and margin analysis and determines product pricing and profitability
●Recommend list pricing and collaborate with Price management team to set net pricing
●Engage and partner with customers in developing new innovations and product features, also ensuring portfolio is grounded in what delivers true market value
●Supporting and enabling regional sales for the responsible products
●Product documentation, including product collateral such as presentations, service definitions, sales guides etc.
●Coordinating legal, regulatory & commercial agreements for expansion of IP Infrastructure and service; including service with partners in new geographies
●Responsible for the day-to-day partner relationship encompassing – commercial, technical, billing and ensuring contractual agreement are followed and implemented
Required:
●At least a Bachelor degree in IT or related field
●Strong technical knowledge in IPT and DIA
●Knowledge in MPLS and SD-WAN will possess an added advantage
●At least 5 years of experience in product management or related field
●Experience with P&L ownership
●Innovation – demonstrated ability to develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
●Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate internally and with customers.
●Experience in preparing material and communicating with company and customers executive levels
●Effectively bilingual to liaise with both Chinese and English speaking stakeholders
