Our client:

●A large scale conglomerate from China with investment globally. In view of the expansion to set-up the Singapore office, they are sourcing for head of investment for their real estate portfolio globally.

Main Responsibilities:

●Provide leadership to investment, asset management, finance and portfolio management team

●Lead new business development, including maintaining detailed pipeline of prospects and potential deals globally

●Responsible for evaluating and executing private equity investment opportunities, close cooperation with the investment team in financial matters throughout the deal execution process, including transaction plan designing, due diligence, valuation, financial modelling, risk recognition/improvement and post-merger integration

●Oversee the Finance & Accounting functions of the Fund, and assess financial performance of organization with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts

●Sound understanding of international tax planning, tax compliance and other related aspects

●Serve as a primary negotiator for approved transactions

●Hire, oversee and train investment and asset management team members as appropriate

Required:

●At least a Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, business or equivalent from a recognized university

●At least 15 years of regional real estate investment experience, with more than 5 years holding senior management position

●Buy-side experience preferred including land and completed buildings for various asset classes

●Effectively bilingual to handle both Chinese and English speaking clients

●With an international perspective, meticulous in handling business negotiation, communications, analysis, financial modelling, etc.

●Proven new business origination, deal structuring, negotiation and deal closing history as a principal and/or in an advisory role

●Resourceful, open-minded, proactive, quick learner, bright, demonstrated intellectual curiosity

●Exposure to private equity M&A transaction is a plus
