Our client:

●A leading real estate developer with growing presence in Asia, including China.  Due to business expansion, they have a new opening for Senior Manager, Procurement & Cost Control (based in Shenzhen)

Main Responsibilities:

●Develop cost plan for development projects.

●Preparation of cash flow projectiles for finance department’s cash flow management.

●Perform cost control such as change management within the approved budgets.

●Review the design and use of material for effective cost control.

●Write procurement reports

●Manage the procurement process, ensuring that all stages including pre-qualification, enquiry, analysis, selection and contract preparation are performed effectively

●Manage the entire tendering and subsequent contract administration

●Ensure that post-contract cost variances and change control processes are managed effectively

●Ensure that cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively

●Review, keep track of and recommend payments for vendors & contractors.

●Ensure that final accounts are negotiated and agreed

●Prepare and finalize the Final Accounts for contracts.

●Value engineering and life cycle costing

Required:

●Good University Degree

●Minimum 12 years of experience with 3-5 years in a managerial level position

●Excellent technical knowledge and experience across the full range of Cost Management duties including: Cost Estimates, Bills of Quantities, Value Engineering, Tendering and Evaluation, Contract Knowledge, Change Orders and Final Account close-out

●Strong negotiation skills

●Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility and confidentiality

●Good verbal and written communication skills – Mandarin and English

●Microsoft Office skills
