Our client:

• A foreign-owned energy Group with assets across China.

• Due to business needs, they now have an opening for China Regional Director (Wastewater Treatment Plant) to be based in Shanghai, China.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

• Overall responsible for the performance, key account management activities and overall profitability of the Group’s water treatment plants in China

• Monitor & review the performance of all water assets against plan & identify areas of concern for further actions & improvements.

• Develop, implement and ensure Business Continuity Plans including crisis management procedures are in place across all the plants.

• Ensure Group standards, policies & procedures are properly adopted across all the plants.

• Develop appropriate systems and guidelines to ensure compliance with the relevant Authorities and Corporate Governance requirements.

• Develop, grow and strengthen the technical, engineering and plant operation to support and achieve sustainable growth.

• Maintain strong relationship with stakeholders

• Provide support for due diligence & integration activities for new projects.

Required:

• Possesses at least a good university degree in environmental engineering or science

• At least 15 years of relevant working experience in wastewater treatment plants with at least 5 years in leadership positions

• Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills

• Strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills

• Effectively bilingual in Mandarin and English

• Be able to travel frequently within China
