Our client:

• One of the leading telecommunications carrier with global presence with its headquarter based in Hong Kong.

• In view of the expansion on the M&A team, they are sourcing for Assistant Risk Management Manager to be based in their HQ in Hong Kong.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

• Identify, quantify and monitor all investments risks in partnership with investment team

• Propose plans and take steps to mitigate investment risks as appropriate

• Perform independent assessment on prospective investment opportunities through market research, due diligence, valuation & modelling and regulation study

• Complete risk assessment reports and present to key internal stakeholders

• Constructively challenge the investment team

• On-going monitoring and reporting of key risk factors and compliances

• Establish, maintain and update investment risk management framework & measurement tools

• Conduct in-depth research on selected topics as assigned by senior management

Required:

• At least a Bachelor Degree, an MBA would have an added advantage

• Professional qualification such as FRM/CPA/CFA preferred

• A minimum of 5 years experiences in risk management or front office role in reputable investment firms

Skills Required/Desired:

• Effectively bilingual to handle both Chinese and English speaking clients

• Strong research, financial modelling and presentation skills

• Experiences in or with Chinese institutions preferred

• Exposure to TMT sector would be required

• Travelling will be required
