Our client:

• A renowned property developer, with investments and regional presence in Asia.

• Due to their aggressive expansion, they are seeking for a senior management professional with general management experience to be based in Vietnam.

Role:

• Based in Vietnam; responsible for the Business Unit’s P & L and maximizing the operational & cost efficiency of huge, residential, commercial &/or mixed development projects in Vietnam.

• Work closely with the various functional heads and forming strategic alliances and partnerships internally and externally; and set out the strategic investment and development directions, resource allocations, asset management plan, country focus and investment criteria in alignment to the Group’s operations regionally

• Oversees the various functions including operations, marketing, finance, HR, Business investment and project development within the country

• Cross-functions between departments within the Group to leverage on the strengths and value propositions of internal stakeholders

• Highly analytical and numerate, the candidate should possess good instincts and boldness

• Driven and have the people skills & business acumen to build relationships with business partners, local government authorities as well as business alliance in Vietnam

Requirements:

• A good degree with relevant discipline

• At least 15 years of real estate industry experience, setting out strategic directions for the company with at least more than 8 years in a senior management position with P&L responsibility in an established and sizeable real estate company

• Good business acumen and sound investment foresight.

• Familiar with real estate industry in Vietnam; those with in-country working experience in Vietnam will have added advantage

• Analytical, numerate and logical with good instinct and boldness for deals and partnerships

• Self-motivated, high drive, proactive, initiator, and “go-getter” attitude

• Highly organised and meticulous, focused minded and able to work under pressure.

• Excellent management and leadership skills with ability to rally the team, good working attitude with a high level of commitment, professionalism and integrity.

• Sensitive to different culture, able to work with people at different levels and from different countries

• Self-accountable, takes ownership of responsibilities and solution-driven
