Our Client:

Our client owns hyperscale Data Centres in APAC. Due to business expansion, they have a new role for M&E Regional Procurement Lead (based in Singapore).

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for establishing supply chain and developing procurement strategy for the Group’s data centres in the region

• Establishing and managing procurement policies, procedures and processes for both new and existing projects across the region

• Work with senior stakeholders to manage, source and engage reliable suppliers and vendors based on project requirements.

• Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Engagement, Contract Strategy & Negotiations and Commercial Management for categories including large power distribution, generator, fire protection, HT/LT Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Equipment, and Other related Services Categories.

• Establishing project contracting strategy & negotiations, setting up consistent and efficient contracting and supplier selection methods.

• Leads in Supplier engagement including establishing annual supplier scorecards, performance reviews and evaluation, etc

• Ensure procurement activities comply with Group policies and regulations.

Required:

• A good university degree, those with postgraduate qualifications will have a strong advantage

• At least 10 years of experience in procurement of M&E services for mission critical facilities

• Prior working experience in Data Centres will have a strong advantage.

• Experience with projects under construction will have a strong advantage

• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills

• Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin
