Our client is a conglomerate in Asia. Due to the strong growth, they have a new opening for a General Manager, Corporate Development to assist the Group Corporate Chairman (GCCM) focusing on global market.

Role:
To support the GCCM in key initiatives and day-to-day operational decisions for effective decision making. Monitoring of initiatives for timely execution and support coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Provide leadership to achieve business and financial targets, as well as drive the execution of key strategic priorities across the region.
Job Responsibilities:
Ideation of new avenues for Fund Raising; part of the team initiating the discussions, negotiation on the term sheets, documentation and closure for fund raising.
Perform due diligence, discussions on the offers and documentation for Mergers & Acquisitions
Involved in divestments and its documentation
Cash flow management from Corporate Chairman’s Office (including the Group Holdings Level).
Support CCM in conducting effective review of the various functions of finance by giving inputs on the pre-reads, key discussion points and updates on Key ATRs.
Preparation and Facilitation for Key stake holder meetings (Lenders/Investors)
Nodal point for all key external communication including Stock exchange intimation and press releases.
Analytical support on key performance metrics, covenants and transactions which include
Analysis of the key transactions in pipeline from a doability perspective and key terms analysis
Monitoring of existing key covenants
Handle ad hoc assignments such as facilitated regulatory workshop to take stock of Group wide claims and receivables; representations to regulatory bodies etc.
Required:
MBA from renowned institutions or other similar disciplines
Have great knowledge of diversified sectors, good interpersonal skills and strong analytical capabilities.
Minimum 10 years of experience with proven track records
Possess sufficient working experience in large corporate handling Strategy & Corporate Finance attached to key decision makers / CEO / MD / GCFO etc.
Sound knowledge and track records in funds raising, liaison with FIIs / Banks
Strong experience in Due Diligence for Financial transactions
Past interactions with Credit Rating agencies
Exposure in overseas finance market
Working experience in overseas especially based out of Singapore
Highly energetic and willing to travel frequently
