Our client:

●An expanding supermarket chain in Western China.  Due to business needs, they now have a new opening for Packaging Design Manager to be based in Chongqing.

Main Responsibilities:

●Working closely with product category manager to design and develop packaging for different Private Label products.

●Develop and design concept artwork and make sure it fits within the marketing and brand scheme for the product.

●Present concepts to management for final approval.

●Meeting with product and print suppliers to work out the best way to make the packaging.

●Oversee the roll-out of the approved concept design (graphic layout, compliance, trademarking, supplier approval).

●Attend print runs on new products.

Required:

●Possesses at least a good university degree in art design

●Demonstrable track record of packaging designs

●Candidates with experience in designing packaging for Convenience Foods or Groceries will have a strong advantage

●Prior experience designing for private labels will have a strong advantage

●Highly energetic and can-do attitude

●Candidates with experience in startups or setting up will have a strong advantage

●Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills

●Effectively bilingual in Mandarin and English
