Our client:
●A foreign-owned real estate Group with assets across China.
●Due to business needs, they now have a new opening for Manager (Civil Engineering) to be based in Guangzhou, China.
Main Responsibilities:
●Responsible for structure design management and review of related drawings for a residential project from planning to construction stage
●Manage and control the design schedule, quality and cost of the residential project at all stages.
●Responsible for design coordination of architecture, structure and other related areas.
●Manage, review design changes and handle structural related technical issues during construction.
●Provide professional advice on design requirements, codes and practices in China.
●Liaising with external consultants, local authorities, contractors, suppliers and internal teams on the above.
Required:
●Possesses at least a good university degree in civil engineering
●At least 8 years of working experience, including design and development management for residential projects
●Strong ability to review scheme and drawings.
●Familiar with building regulations
●Familiar with related design specifications and cost indicators, proficient in design related software.
●Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
●Effectively bilingual in Mandarin and English
