Our client:

• An Engineering firm listed in the Singapore Stock Exchange. They are sourcing for a meticulous and highly driven leader to take on the position as Group Financial Controller to manage their business in the region.

Main Responsibilities:

• Key member of the management team, responsible for the company’s financial and accounting functions including financial management and cost accounting.

• Advises and supports the MD on all financial issues, develop strategies and plans to meet all financial commitments.

• Responsible for SGX reporting and financial reporting to the Board of Directors.

• Represents the financial function in acquisition analysis and integration.

• Provides financial input on decisions affecting the company such as potential alliances, acquisitions, mergers, investments or any contracts into which the company may enter to ensure corporate governance and feasibility of projects.

• Overall in-charge for planning, development and implementation of effective finance, taxation, treasury strategies, policies and procedures.

Required:

• At least a Degree in Finance/Accounting/Commerce related discipline with CPA accreditation.

• Preferably an existing full member of ISCA.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience with minimum 5 years at Senior Management level.

• Experience working in Engineering/Construction company is preferred.

• Strong business acumen with knowledge and ability to develop and implement robust financial processes to drive effective decisions.

• Experience in an SGX Listed Co will be required.

• Superb communication skills and meticulous.

• Ability to build rapport with key members of the executive team and board members.
