Listed in the Stock Exchange of Singapore, they have extensive presence in the global market & are constantly growing and expanding their portfolio and solutions to cater and meet the technological needs of the fast moving market as well as maintaining their leadership position as a top tier network & IT solution provider.
Due to their expansion plan and continuous growth to maintain their leadership position, they are inviting qualified talents to take on the newly created post of Head of Products and Technologies.
This role will report directly into the Group CEO in Singapore and the job scope will eventually evolve to be overall in charge of all technical functions in the entire Group, equivalent to the CTO function.
Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for the technical vision, strategies and development of the Group’s product portfolio.
First and foremost, the candidate will be responsible for all presales resources within the Group. Subsequently the candidate is also expected to be responsible for all post-sales resources and overall in charge of all technical functions in the entire Group; ie, including the hiring and development of own internal product development/ management resources
Own the product roadmap and communicate with C-level staff, Board Members, and other stakeholders.
Build incredible teams and processes to deliver products that satisfy the needs of customers.
Become the key evangelist of the products and participate in press activities, conferences, discussions
Keep abreast of Technological trends.
Product Porfolio (for a Reseller Model) Responsibilities:
Identify key and/or niche products for the Group to resell as part of the entire Group product portfolio.
Develop strategic relationships with key vendors for product reseller model.
Work with internal sales force to identify market segments for each of the products.
Define unique selling proposition as well as battle cards for each of the key products.
Product Development/Management Responsibilities:
Product lifecycle management from concept to launch of the product(s) across all products/product lines.
Lead, define, represent and communicate product strategy to all stakeholders.
Assess product development sprints, enhancement opportunities and evaluate results.
Develop budgets, forecasts, and metrics.
Lead Product Managers to assess product mix and marketing strategy.
Monitor and manage strategic marketing plans for each product or product lines.
Define pricing and competitive positioning for each product.
Drive innovative ideas, solutions and products through leadership and decisive action.
Requirement:
Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
At least 8 years of strong product development/management experience. Higher preference will be placed on candidates with strong software product development background.
Strong background and experience in ICT System Integrator/reseller industry.
Successfully delivered/launched multiple software products or software platform
Strong critical thinking with excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills
Technical, analytical and cross-functional collaboration experience
Ability to direct teams and collaborate effectively
Excellent domain knowledge in cloud, cyber security, IOT and Smart building technologies preferred.
